Dr. Lukas Braun was honored with the “GEFI Förderpreis“ of the Faculty for Biology and the “Preis für innovative Forschungsansätze in der
Onkologie“ of the Medical Faculty for his PhD thesis titled „Enhancing the activity of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor therapies and controlling their side effects“. Both awards were presented during the opening ceremony of the 2025/2026 academic year at the University of Freiburg.
